Siletry ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered business growth platform for Indian SMBs. This policy explains how
we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our app and services.

Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated when you use our services.
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, and business name when you sign
up.
- Business data — social media posts, captions, schedules, and content you create or import
through Siletry.
- WhatsApp data — messages, contacts, and conversation history from your connected WhatsApp
Business account.
- CRM data — customer names, phone numbers, notes, and lead pipeline information you add.
- Usage data — features you use, actions you take, pages you visit, and performance data to
improve our service.
- Payment data — billing information processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store
card details.
- Device data — device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting.

How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Siletry platform and its features.
- Power AI features — generating social media posts, auto-replies, and content suggestions.
- Send WhatsApp messages on your behalf to your customers when you configure automations or broadcasts.
- Process payments and manage your subscription.
- Send you service notifications, product updates, and support communications.
- Analyse usage patterns to improve features and fix bugs.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your customer data for advertising, and we never sell your data to third parties.

WhatsApp & Meta Data
When you connect your WhatsApp Business account to Siletry, we access and store:
- Your WhatsApp Business phone number and display name.
- Messages sent and received through your connected number.
- Contact information of customers who message your business.
- Message delivery and read receipts.
This data is used exclusively to power your Siletry inbox, CRM, automations, and analytics. We access WhatsApp
data through the official Meta WhatsApp Business API and comply with WhatsApp Business Policy
and Meta Platform Terms.
We do not use your WhatsApp message data to train AI models or share it with third parties outside of providing
the service to you.

Data Sharing
We share your data only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers — trusted third parties who help us operate Siletry, including Railway
(hosting), Razorpay (payments), and OpenAI (AI features). They are contractually bound to protect your data.
- Meta / WhatsApp — when you use WhatsApp features, data is transmitted through Meta's API
per their terms.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority.
- Business transfer — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the
new entity under the same privacy protections.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.

Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on Railway infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security
measures including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data transferred between your device and our servers.
- Encryption at rest for sensitive data including access tokens and payment information.
- JWT-based authentication with secure token storage on your device.
- Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
Your data is stored primarily in servers located in the region closest to India for performance. We retain your
data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days,
except where required by law.

Your Rights
You have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability — request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to certain types of data processing.
- Withdrawal — withdraw consent for data processing at any time.

Our web platform uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you logged in across sessions.

features. Our mobile app uses device storage (not cookies) for authentication tokens.

Siletry is a business platform intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with
personal data, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please
contact us at support@siletry.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by:
- Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- Sending a notification through the Siletry app.
- Emailing you if the changes materially affect your rights.
Continued use of Siletry after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
